PAC and Communications Assistant
“As a post abortive woman I have a similar experience and story to the women and men who were ill informed when making their decision to terminate the life of their child. This shared experience, although devastatingly regrettable, has propelled me to speak up for women’s rights from a pro-life perspective. I have chosen to be an advocate with ORTL and to use my story, my education and my skill set to pass pro-life legislation, communicate the truths about abortion and help change the political landscape so all Oregonians can have the right to life.”
Jessica Stanton is the PAC and Communications Assistant as well as a Lobbyist for ORTL. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from George Fox University and went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate degree from Liberty University School of Law. Jessica has shared her story with pro-life student campus groups and has been published with Feminists for Life. She has written about the benefits of legalizing midwives in Georgia as well as how the 2018 proposed budget cut of Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) would have on minority women in the United States.
Jessica is the eldest of four siblings to her parents Susan and Douglas Stanton, whom reside in Thomasville, Georgia. Although Oregon is not her native state, Jessica is proud and honored to be an Oregonian transplant, her heart is happy here.
