Are you a registered Republican or Democrat in Oregon? Are you interested in an easy way to make a difference through the political process?
If you responded yes to these questions then you should become a Precinct Committee Person today!
As a PCP, you will be your precinct’s representative to the county central committee and in your area. You will have a real influence on your party’s policy on abortion, physician assisted suicide and other life issues. There are also times when PCPs must select possible replacements to legislators if a seat becomes open.
For these and more reasons it’s important for pro-life people to be a part of the party process, so please take a moment to become a PCP today! All you have to do is click the button below to download a one-page form that you need to fill out and mail to your county elections office. If you don’t know where that is, or if you don’t know what precinct number to put on your form, don’t worry! You can mail the form to our office and we’ll take care of it for you. Our address is below:
Oregon Right to Life PAC
4335 River Road N
Salem, OR 97303

For the 2018 election year, you must file this form after February 1st but before March 6th. If you are eligible and there is a spot open for a PCP in your precinct, you will be on the ballot in your precinct in the May election. When you get your ballot, please feel free to vote for yourself and ask your neighbors to as well! PCP elections are usually not competitive, so it’s usually an easy victory.
An alternative method of becoming a PCP is contacting your county party chair and asking if you can be appointed as a PCP to an open position. Often times this method will work as well.
